WOW, twice in one week I am on a roll! LOL.
Last night Robert's friend Scott came over. Scott works for the golf channel so he's in town covering the Phx open. The guys stayed up until like midnight catching up so that was nice. They have known each other since high school. I think he's coming over again on Sunday to watch the Super bowl with us and they might even run into each other on Sat at the Open while Robert and Bruce are there (but he might not remember seeing Scott if it's anything like years past..LOL).
Emily and Tyler both had dentist appointments yesterday morning (how much do we just LOVE our dentist?). Emily did great, she didn't have any cavities this time (thank goodness) and had a good "clean" mouth of healthy teeth. We do need to floss a big better since she has some crowding and her two front teeth are pretty loose, so the tooth fairy will be visiting us again soon. Tyler didn't want any part of the dentist today, last time we were there he actually did great, but yesterday no way. They weren't able to get x-rays, and the cleaning and exam were a bit hard, but we pushed thru it and he actually has pretty darn good teeth, no cavities either.. YIPPEE.. She was so funny, and thought she was pretty cool, for getting to be late for school that day...
I'm feeling alot better than I was on Sunday, so I am hoping that it was just a small relapse, but all is getting better... So, that's good. I got up and did bootcamp on Wed and let me tell you, I think my bones are just now thawed out..at 5:30 a.m. it is so freakin cold outside! Hopefully tomorrow will be just a wee bit warmer..
Tyler kicked bootie with Sabrina today, she worked with him for 2 hours and said he had no problems doing all his programs with her, she said he's a good worker and that Erin will be modifying some of his targets, so that is huge!! That means he's moving up! He has just been learning so much lately, I can't put my finger on it, but he really seems to be trying harder with his words and his requesting is just going so well!! We have stopped using sippy cups, he is only using big boy cups now, and in his backpack I put a water bottle type cup in there with his juice, and he seems to be doing good with that... Now, if we can just get him to go poopy in the potty, and stop dumping that last little bit of juice left in his big boy cup on the floor, life would be soooooooo sweet.. LMAO!! So, we have a great team of Habilitators.. Erin, Sabrina and Savannah... they all work so well together ~ we are so lucky, all we need now is for someone to come to the house on Tues/Thurs afternoons to just generalize what he's learning at the center to the home environment.
Oh, and if you all could think good thoughts and/or say a little prayer for my mommy-in-law, she has been under the weather and is waiting to hear about some news!
Loves and Hugs XOXOX
Terri :)
